The memorial service was beautiful! Thank all of you who came to worship and Praise God with us. I am so proud of Mandy. She did an awesome job with the planning and the music she picked was so beautiful. I know many people were touched and will never be the same as they walked out of that service.

At the end of the service there was a video of Chris' life with music as we watched him as a child and through the years. I am hoping to be able to put that video on here in the next few days. Also, I am planning on continuing to keep this blog going in memory of Chris. It helps us as a family find healing and to be able to just look and see how God has been and is taking care of us through this journey.

Mandy and the children will need your prayers and love more than ever in the next days, weeks, months to come. Mandy told me a few days ago that even though she has had many people surrounding her and loving her, it still will never fill the void of not having her best friend with her. Please keep praying for us all. The outpouring of love has been amazing. Though the days ahead will be challenging as we miss Chris so much, we do know that we are not alone.
