Chris was moved out of ICU Sunday evening. He is now in the Truett building on the orthopedic floor and his room number is 651. Good news is that he has been eating and drinking well. He has not been able to eat for a long time so this is awesome! Also he has not been running anymore fever. Praise the Lord. His arm is still very swollen and he still has a lot of pain in his arm but hopefully with time that will ease. He is still very weak and sleeps a lot.
For now they are just concetrating on recovery for this surgery. They will decide what to do next as he recovers from this. Mandy was a little concerned about this floor because they seem to be understaffed and it is taking a while for the nurses to come when they are called. I don't know if Chris is well enough to wait when he needs something. She commented that at one point when they called for help it took them an hour to come to the room. Please pray that this situation improves or that he can be moved to another floor who has more nurse to patient ratio.
