Update on Chris 3-1-07
Please say a special prayer for Chris. When I arrived to the hospital this morning, he had been taken to have a chest x-ray. Since this was not in the plan, I asked the nurse what was going on. Apparently he woke up with a 101.1 fever this morning, so they ordered all kinds of tests to find the source. Besides the chest x-ray, he also had blood cultures and was given IV antibiotics and Tylenol for the fever. They also called in the Infectious Disease doctor to check on him. As of the end of today, we had not heard any test results. They probably would’ve had them by now, so they must be clear or they would’ve told us. But, we will probably know more tomorrow. They postponed chemo and therapy. So, today was kinda frustrating. He really doesn’t feel very bad. It is most likely not a big deal, but we are hoping tomorrow will be back on track for him.
