Update on Chris 3-29-07 PM
Just wanted to let you know that Chris’ day at Baylor went very well today. Other than a two hour stay in the waiting room to get called back for chemo, everything went well and Chris felt great today. The doctor has scheduled a CT Scan, doctors appointment and chemo for April 19th. He will have the Ct Scan results for the appointment and will determine whether to keep the chemo appointment or cancel to determine a new course of action, depending on the results showing how responsive the tumor has been to the chemo. He said that this chemo doesn’t usually knock people down as bad as it did Chris a few weeks ago, so maybe that was just a fluke thing, maybe related to everything else he had been dealing with. So, hopefully today’s treatment won’t hit him too hard. Thank you for all of the prayers about this. Chris seemed to feel better today than I have seen him in quite a while. Getting out of the house didn’t seem to be too hard for him and he got around pretty well. He walked to and from the cars and only used his wheelchair to get through the hospital. His chemo was in a different area (different floor) than we had gone to before… so… this is what it feels like to be OUTPATIENT!!! J It was great! Thanks again for praying us through this. I will keep you posted on how he is feeling in the next few weeks.
