DAY OF CHRIS' MIRACLE!!!! GOD ANSWERED OUR PRAYERS!

There are almost no words to say… we have seen a miracle. I am overwhelmed and have no words. But, I somehow needed to tell you all again how grateful I am for all that you have done. I am also so honored that you have walked through this with us.
For those of you who don’t know, Wednesday, January 10th, I was told that I would have to make a decision to withdraw breathing support, because Chris was not improving. The doctor said that they did not expect him to turnaround and that Friday would be a day of decision. There is no way to describe what this day was like for me and our family, as well as all of our close friends who have walked through this with us. We were filled with sorrow and desperation.
On Thursday morning, we went to the hospital, anticipating no changes.
God had other plans… Chris showed some unexpected improvements Thursday morning and has continued to improve over the last few days. Praise God… we have seen a miracle! God can do the impossible! The doctors are amazed and have taken no credit for this turnaround. God is being made famous through Chris’ miracle at Baylor Dallas! He is still in ICU, on the ventilator tube, but they are weaning him off of it slowly and will start rehabilitation soon. Chris is going to come home and will never be the same.
To those who were involved in the Jericho Prayer… thank you, from the bottom of my heart and thank you to every one else who agreed in prayer with us. Thank you to the ladies who came and cleaned my house! I can’t explain what it felt like to come home tonight. Thank you. Thank you for all the food, groceries, snacks, gift cards, etc. Thank you to the guys who fixed stuff and worked on the cars. Thank you. And, the list goes on and on. Every little thing you do means so much. My prayer is that God will bless you, as you have so greatly blessed us.
Cherishing this unforgettable moment in our lives… praising God for this miracle.
Love,
Mandy

Chris and Mandy,
This is Travis Scott formally from Glisten...I had no idea Chris was sick. My heart broke when Gary told us the news and I haven't been able to stop thinking about you guys. I'm embarrassed that I didn't know sooner, but please know that you have a team of people praying for you in Denton. Chris, you were one of my favorite bosses and I know you will pull through this time. I have to be honest...I'm not used to seeing you with no facial hair and I definately miss the mullet! Hang in there bro, I love you.
