Chris Update 1-8-07

Quick Update…

Chris’ condition has not changed much in the past few days. His chest x-rays look bad again, no more improvements. They are unsure why he isn’t progressing faster. All other organs are functioning well… his lungs are the only area that is struggling. He was on 100% oxygen most of today and was only showing to be 85-92% oxygen saturation… this should be better. He was extremely alert today and was asking for a lot of things with head nods and hand movements. He tried to write some too and we were able to figure out a lot of things, but it was very hard to understand him and got very frustrating for all involved. The nurses cannot believe how responsive he is on such heavy sedation. He is still fighting, I guess! He has begun to show some agitation and has requested to be alone several times. I know he must be so frustrated. Please pray for him to be relaxed and comfortable and pray for our family to have patience and understanding.

Thank you to every one involved in the Jericho prayer… I will try to come by this week, if I can. Keep praying! Thank you for all of the other blessings… too many to name!
